Various
community groups use church facilities during the course of the year.
Recovery, Inc. meets in the church library at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays,
helping people change the thoughts, reactions and behaviors that are causing
their physical and emotional symptoms. Group members learn to cope with fear,
depression and anxiety in a non-clinical setting. Call (214) 904-0296 for

Toughlove, a self-help program for parents troubled by teenage
behavior, meets on Monday nights at 7:00 p.m. in the administration building.
This parent support group provides a safe, confidential environment to talk
about behavioral difficulties in the family and how to respond to them.
Professional Testing administers high school equivalency exams several
times a year in the Fellowship Hall and classrooms. For information on
testing, contact Shirley Cain.
Neighborhood Services Council uses the basketball court and lawn for
youth activities during the school year.
West Junior High School uses the Fellowship Hall for examinations and
tutoring.
